De Woodchuck W is ontworpen als een "kampvuur achter glas" met rondom zicht op de vlammen. De wind heeft geen invloed en kleding en haren blijven fris. Het gezellige en warme vuur is zichtbaar door het glas aan vier zijden. Door het hittebestendig glas heb je enkel de leuke effecten van het vuur: gezelligheid en warmte, zonder de rook. De weinige rook die overblijft, wordt op 3 meter hoogte afgevoerd door de kachelpijp. Het houtvuur straalt warmte op zithoogte.

Wood stove for outside with pure glass

The Woodchuck W wood burning stove is designed to keep the glass clean. The air flows are directed such that the soot build-up on the glass is minimal. This way the glass remains clean resulting in light and heat to radiate fully. And you have less cleaning to do. Of course you should use pure and dry wood for this! All 4 sides of the heater have 4 mm ceramic glass so that you can enjoy the fire from any direction.

Pure combustion, fewer emissions

The Woodchuck W is a garden heater with a closed combustion with high efficiency. As a result, it is economical in wood consumption and emissions is much purer than open burns such as fire pits and fire bowls. Upon correct use, the smoke from the chimney is transparent and without the sharp scent of poorly burnt wood!

Sustainable design of patio heater

The Woodchuck W is a tightly designed outdoor heater in 3 mm refreshing Cortenstaal. Cortenstaal lasts up to 8x longer than just steel and gives the heater a Robust and timeless appearance. The hinges of the stove door are hidden. The operation of the stove and air control is minimalist finished.

The weathered corten steel rusts superficial to a beautiful orange-red color and will then retain its thickness and strength forever. Under the influence of sun, rain and heating behavior you get a unique color game that changes over time.

Safety

The outside is double shielded from the fire so that you cannot burn your metal.

Only the glass and the chimney are really hot.

Use

There are 2 handles on the side of the Woodchuck W garden heater. The left handle arranges the primary air to the fire. The right handle opens the door with glass. Both levers are warm, but not hot. Gloves are not required.

Quality finish of the terrace stove

The Woodchuck W terrace stove is fully equipped in weathering steel aka Corten.

The finish of the sheet metal has been carried out with great care for a straight and clear result, even when used!

The hinges of the door are hidden for a sleek look.

Refractory bottom

Refractory tiles protect the bottom from the hot fire. They close nicely with the stove housing and form a bowl in which the glowing coals are located. Between the refractory tiles are air gaps for the primary aeration of the wood fire. The adjustable primary aeration ensures oxygen under the heat and a smooth start to the fire. If the fire is at temperature, the primary aeration can be closed.

Cup holder

The Woodchuck's cup holder is designed (and tested) for

- All types of glasses: beer glasses, duvel glasses, leffe glasses, wine glasses, champagne glasses etc.

- All types of bottles, up to and including Chimay and Duvel bottles etc. Does also serve as a bottle holder.

- cups and mugs

You can place 2 consumptions per cup holder. Close to the heater the cup holder becomes warm (hot) for mulled wine, coffee, hot chocolate or fast drinkers. The 2nd place heats less on (less hot) and is better suited for cool drinks.

The cup holder is made in Cortenstaal and you can easily hang on the side panel. 6 cup holders can be used per stove.
