Woodchuck attaches great importance to protecting your personal information and will treat it with due respect. This privacy statement is therefore aimed at the individuals whose personal data is processed by Woodchuck.
This statement describes how your personal information is collected and processed on this website and in the execution of contracts by Woodchuck, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (entered into force on 25.05.2018).
1. Definitions
You = the client / customer or others user of the contact form on the website or browsing the website www.woodchuck-outdoor-stoves.com
We = Woodchuck.
Processor = all companies which Woodchuck calls upon and who may come into contact with the your personal information.
2. The processing of personal data
On the website you can fill out a contact form or place a purchase order. The data that we collect through this channel is processed by us:

If you enter into an agreement, Woodchuck can gain knowledge of personal data of you, your employees, suppliers and appointees (non exhaustive list).
When fulfilling orders, it is not excluded that Woodchuck gets aware of your sensitive personal data that can be processed by Woodchuck:

- personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or membership of a union, and processing of genetic data, biometric data in order to uniquely identify an individual or health information or information relating to someone's sexual behavior or sexual orientation.

Following grounds are called upon to process your personal data:

The processing for archiving in the public interest, scientific or historical research or statistical purposes.
In case you fill out the contact form, you give Woodchuck express permission to process your data by ticking the box at the bottom of the form. If you mail Woodchuck, you give permission to Woodchuck to process the data.
If you place order at Woodchuck you give the permission that knowledge can be taken from all kinds of personal data with which we come into contact with the execution of our assignments. This permission must be given explicitly. If you do not give us this permission, we will be able to take note of the personal data on the basis of the implementation of the agreement or its legitimate interest.
For the processing of sensitive data in the context of performing its services, Woodchuck needs your express permission. Or guarantees as a client that you have the permission of the person concerned, and that he can communicate this permission to the client on paper or on a different carrier.
Our website does not intend to collect sensitive information about website visitors who are younger than 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we can not check whether a visitor over 16. We therefore recommend parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, to collect that data on children to prevent without parental consent.

4. Purposes
Woodchuck processes the data which you have given permission to carry out its activities:

5. Transfer to a third party
Personal data from the client will only be given to processors with a view to the purposes set out in paragraph 4. Your details won't be passed on to anyone else because of commercial purposes.
Woodchuck attaches the greatest importance to your personal information. If processors are used to carry out the contract, we will ensure that the processors do not use personal information for purposes other than those listed in section 4. We will make arrangements with these parties on how the data should be treated and at what level of protection it needs to handled. 6. Storage
Woodchuck stores your data for an unlimited period if it is acquired through the website or by email. Other contract related data is stored for the duration of the contract. Woodchuck strives to be as clear as possible about its services.
Woodchuck will provide the greatest security to act on your rights as defined in paragraph 8. At regular intervals we will ask the person to confirm the accuracy of the data.
7. Protection Level
Woodchuck guarantees an adequate level of protection on the organizational and technical level. We do this by storing your data secure, and also demand this security from our processors. Sensitive data is protected by password.
8. Rights of the customer
This privacy statement is intended to adequately inform you of your rights. You always have the right to oppose the processing of your data. Feel free to contact us if you want to see, improve, transfer or limit your data. Under certain conditions, your data can be deleted. Direct your question to info(@)woodchuck.be.
To ensure that the access request is made by you, we ask you to send us a copy of your identification with the request. In this copy of your passport black-out the picture, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers underneath the ID), the ID or passport number and registry number. This is to protect your privacy.
9. Cookies
This site uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone on the first visit to this website. We use both temporary cookies, that are deleted when you shut down your browser, and cookies to identify on your next visit. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your convenience. This privacy statement is regularly updated in order to get at all times the processing of your data correctly. We do not inform in advance. At the top of this statement you can find the date of the last update.
